[2021-10-08 20:26:36] - daniel:  nope.  gurkie and mig seem like your go-to there.  ~a

[2021-10-08 20:04:34] - All:  Random question for folks - have any of you heard of the Wheel of Time or have any idea that is?  Just curious.  -Daniel

[2017-01-13 10:41:08] - mig:  ok, but in this case, they are.  the same number (annual per 100k) is ~9 in death by motor vehicle when you aren't a pedestrian.  so, since we spend way more time behind the wheel (and this is also backed up by studies):  it's safer to be in a car than out of it.  that's just backwards!  ~a

[2011-03-21 10:19:46] - gurkie: Yes, there's a planned cap.  I think he said 13, but it's been a while since I looked, so DD.  He's young and healthy.  The only thing that would keep him from finishing it is if he can't sell them, which happened after the first 7 for a while.  But even that doesn't really matter because it's not a series like LoTR or Wheel of Time where it's one ginormous story.

[2010-11-05 12:57:28] - gurkie: Brandon Sanderson.  he's the author finishing up the Wheel of Time series and has a bunch of his own books that are good.  -Daniel

[2010-10-29 10:55:20] - Can't remember if I've asked previously, anyone else here read Wheel of Time books?  -Daniel

[2009-09-23 19:45:21] - I'm going to assume wheel of time. - mig

[2005-12-30 13:53:42] - But there is a mention of a trackball as well, which I'd forgotten about.  I used to use them all the time, and my trackball had a scroll wheel.  I'd use thumb for both right and left clicking, index and middle finger for tracking, and ring finger for scrolling.  I think that was the device everyone else hated to use. -- Xpovos
